5th Week of 2024 is the period from Monday 5th February, 2024 to Sunday 11th February, 2024. A few projects were released ranging from the highly anticipated Amapiano project from the Murumba Pitch, DBN Gogo and Ulazi.

TOP NEW ALBUMS & EP’s OF THE WEEK:

1. Murumba Pitch – Isidalo Album: Renowned SA piano duo, Murumba Pitch released a new 2024 Amapiano music project which they titled “Isidalo”. The project was officially released on the 8th of February, 2024.

The Amapiano package houses a total of 19 tracks, featuring the likes of features from the likes of Sjava, Shakes & Les, Omit ST, Buhle Sax, Sipho Magudulela, Afrotraction, Kelvin Momo, Mthunzi, Aymos, Em-one, KLY, Mhaw Keys, Boohle, Sam Deep, Soa Mattrix, HappyJazzMan, Nkosazana Daughter, Lioness Ratang, Mzizi, Maremk Violin, Daliwonga, Dinky Kunene, MaWhoo, DJ Maphorisa, Madumane, Toss, Xduppy, Oscar Mbo, Frank Mabeat, others.

2. DBN Gogo – Click Bait Album: Renowned South African songstress, DBN Gogo came through with a new Amapiano music project titled “Click Bait”. Officially released on all digital streaming platforms on the 9th of February, 2024.

The piano project houses seven songs and features the likes of Durban’s Finest, Effected, Sykes, Jay Music, Baby S.O.N, Mashudu, C-Blak, Yumbs, Shazmicsoul, Soul Jam, Dr Thulz, Leandra.Vert, Dee Traits, Dinky Kunene, Soul Jam, others.

3. uLazi – Nobody Can Stop Mguzu Wethu Vol. 3 Album: uLazi delivered a new Amapiano music project titled “Nobody Can Stop Mguzu Wethu, Vol. 3”. This third edition of the Amapiano project seems to be the last version. Released on streaming platforms on the 9th February, 2024.

It houses a whooping number of twenty four songs with features from the likes of Djy Vino, Thabza Tee, FaroQi, El keys, Tee Taurus, El-Kay MusiQ, Almighty, Chief Sabza, others.

4. Nandipha808 – Jan Fever EP: Talented South African music artiste, Nandipha808 released a mini Amapiano music project which is titled “Jan Fever”. The Six track Extended play, featured the likes of Boips, Amzin Deep, Kaytee NA, DJ Kwamzy, Nevrr49, Jay Music, MystroJazz, Deestar ZA, Givem Tyler Litch, Nation Deep, others.

5. WurlD – No Suffer EP: WurlD and ODUMODUBLVCK collaborated in producing this Hip Hop project titled “No Suffer” housing three tracks featured only DJ Maphorisa. Though the extended play is produced by two popular Nigerian Afro Beat singers, we added it here because DJ Maphorisa was featured in it.
