Endowed South African songstress, Nkosazana Daughter and Fikile Mbalula’s dancing video has gone viral on social media.

At the African National Congress (ANC) Youth League Peter Mokaba Volunteers rally, which took place in Johannesburg over the weekend, a star-studded lineup included Amapiano superstar Nkosazana Daughter.

Videos from the rally have gained thousands of comments and reactions since they dropped on X, formerly Twitter.

ANC secretary-general Fikile Mbalula and ANC’s Youth League President, Collen Malatji, were in attendance. While addressing hundreds of party supporters in Alexandra Township, the Youth President urged supporters and those in positions of power to be active.

He has it that failure to do so will force them to ‘fire’ some incompetent members. “Mbalula and I don’t play; we act. We will fire people,” said Malatji.

However, Nkosazana Daughter’s performance was one of the day’s highlights from the rally. Nkosazana Daughter performed some of her smash hits as Fikile Mbalula and Malatji danced with her.

The ANC secretary-general danced with Nkosazana Daughter for a moment before he showed off some of his ‘youthful dance moves’ as he left the stage. Undoubtedly, it was a picture-perfect moment captured by cameras.

But social media is also divided over the now-viral footage. While some people mocked Fikile Mbalula for dancing with Nkosazana Daughter, others thought it was OK for the two to have some fun together on stage.

In contrast to the trends, Nkosanaza Daughter received a nod from the ANC secretary-general in an X post. “ND daughter my greatest friend Intombi ecula kamnandi,” he wrote on social media.

Nkosazana Daughter has been extremely successful since being brought to light. She has undoubtedly been busy and booked lately. She has performed in rallies, just like her predecessors.

She performs alongside a variety of vocalists that have been entertaining at this year’s rallies, such as DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, BabesWodumo, Big Zulu, and DJ Tira. Performing artists at rallies to encourage large numbers of supporters has become standard practice for political parties.

Political parties have joined the worldwide trend, and South Africa is hardly an exception. Some fans, nevertheless, mocked ANC for hiring her. Nkosazana Daughter has become EFF’s sweetheart throughout the years. She has been the star of multiple party rallies.
