Muzi Drops uMUZI Album
In August, endowed DJ, singer and songwriter, Muzi announced the now new release of his album ‘uMUZI’. According to the multi-faceted artist, ‘uMUZI’ is a personal album of which he spent years creating.

The project, which serves as Muzi’s fifth studio album has been released under New York-based electronic music label, ‘Fool’s Gold Records’.
Muzi takes listeners on a nostlagic sonic experience in his new body of work which comprises songs that draw influence from 80s bubblegum music.
A few months ago, Muzi shared a tweet stating that ‘uMUZI’ is “a dance album heavily inspired by South African 80s music”.
The 13-track oeuvre includes contributions from Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin, The Last Skeptik, Madala Kunene and Abazukulu BaMakhoza.
Muzi dropped three lead singles leading up to the project’s official release namely, ‘eMthunzini’, ‘Milk & Honey’ as well as ‘Light’. Each release is accompanied with visuals.
Earlier this week, Muzi teased the upcoming visuals for ‘Queen’ featuring Chris Martin; a single off of the project. The music video is set to drop later today.
Currently, ‘uMUZI’ serves as the number one electronic album on Apple Music in a matter of hours since its official release. Muzi recently took to socials to triumph over the exciting news.
