Joining him is Lunatik Beats, the mastermind behind the chart-topping hit ‘Cara Cara’ for KO, and a collaborator with talents like A-Reece, Sjava, and Emtee.

Attendees can also participate in the Echo System Panel Discussion featuring representatives from SAMRO, SAMPRA, and CAPASSO, delves into the intricate world of the music rights echo system. Aimed at assisting music composers, the discussion covers critical aspects such as fair compensation, safeguarding creative works, and expanding career opportunities. Icon Award Presentation to Joe Nina: Recognized as the “Father of Afro Pop,” the Icon Award for 2023 will be presented to the illustrious Mr. Makhosini Henry Xaba, be7er known by his stage name, Joe Nina. Celebrated as one of South Africa’s Kwaito pioneers, Joe Nina’s influence extends to Afro-soul music. His musical journey, which began with aliases like T McCool and King Rap in the early 1990s, has led an indelible mark.
