This year’s multidisciplinary BAI Heatseekers Festival promises to be even bigger and better than before. The festival is scheduled to take place over two weekends, on April 13 and 14, and April 19 and 20. The immersive celebration of innovative artistry in the fields of youth entertainment and digital film is what the Heatseekers Festival promises to deliver.

One of the essential discussions will be exploring The Legal Ramifications of Artificial intelligence within South Africa’s Creative Industries with leading lawyer, Kevin Smith, with other key highlights focussing on Youth Programming, Tax Compliance, Cultural Curation and so much more. This festival ensures that attendants will be engaged with informative and entertaining content.

- Screening an episode of “The Bubbling Culture” directed by Yalezo Njuguna. Narrated by radio host, DJ Sabby, the series explores the dynamic South African entertainment industry through the eyes of young pioneers in various areas of the entertainment industry.
- Preview of “Trading Places”: Heatseekers presents an exclusive preview of the romantic comedy “Trading Places,” offering a sneak peek into the film’s delightful storyline and characters. Following the preview, a dynamic Q&A session with the cast and crew will provide insights into the making of the film and behind-the-scenes anecdotes.
