Tyla Wins Best New Artist At The BET Awards
Tyla won two awards at the BET Awards, including Best International Act and Best New Artist. Being the first non-citizen of the United States to win the former, Tyla creates history. She ended the five-year sequence of Nigerians who had won it straight for the latter. She gains another honour to her collection after just recently taking home a Grammy.
