South Africans Demand Apology from Burna Boy for His Statement back in 2019
Angry South Africans Call Out Burna Boy To Apologize: Burna Boy receives serious attack on social media following the news that he would be performing at the DSTV Delicious International Food And Music Festival in South Africa. This was as a result of his statement on the Massive Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians residing in South Africa back in 2019.
The Grammy award winner took it upon himself to address the issue in his Official Twitter handle which is being referred to now.

Later that year, Burna Boy shocked South Africans after promising to perform in the country in the Africans Unite anti-xenophobic concert at the Sun Arena. Burna was set to share the stage with fellow Nigerian star Jidenna and SA rapper, Kwesta.
He shared in a tweet about the concert:
“The first of many! Part of the proceeds will be donated to the victims of xenophobic attacks on me”.
However, due to public backlash and threats of violence, the concert was cancelled. Now, this is another show and South Africans say they haven’t forgotten, and he should apologize or face another round of boycotting.
