A funky Friday for Funk Series lovers as The Real Groovinhos duo, Shakes & Les drop their highly anticipated extended play, ‘Funk Series‘.

With the success of their flagship single “Funk 55” and earlier hit songs “Thula Mabota,” The Real Groovinhos have established themselves as a force to be reckoned with.

The album’s opening track, “Funk 2 Jive,” has a lot of drumming and a feeling that may be enjoyed without vocals. This continues into “Funk Dala,” the second song. The fourth song gains speed when the major features appear in the third song, “Funk 100,” which features Pretoria Avengers Focalistic, Ch’cco, and Pabi Cooper. Kele Mckaay! On “Funk 99,” Leemckrazy does not let us down, showcasing his distinctive sound throughout the entire song. Shakes & Les wind up the tape with the main single and currently one of the biggest tunes, “Funk 55,” after continuing with “Funk 66” without voices.
