Funk 55 Goes 5x Platinum
The Amapiano hit song “Funk 55,” by DBN Gogo, Shakes & Les, and Zed Nxumalo and features Ceeka RSA and Chley, which went viral was officially certified five times platinum.
Photographer Henry Wockstar recently shared a shot of Zed Nxumalo accepting the award with pride and displaying the platinum medal next to Uncle Waffles.
“Funk 55” was released on December 1st of last year and was well-received by critics. To far, the well-received song has had over 9 million Spotify plays and 5.1 million YouTube views.
