The rapper announced his role in the series a few days ago, and he’s returned on social media with photos taken at the premiere.
Junior says he is elated about the role as he could resonate with it.
“Super blessed & honoured to be a part of such a cool project. Such an important project for so many reasons man & they gave me a character that I share so many struggles with. I can’t wait for y’all to experience this,” he wrote.
Speaking to GQ about ‘bagging the gig’ Nasty C said, “My team informed me about the series Disney + was doing and shared the story, Mkhuzi: The Spirit Racer with me. I was excited to lend my voice to the character and series. Manzo is a half-human, half-alien teenager who dreams of becoming a superstar racer like his mom. He struggled a bit with identity being Zulu but with alien blood.”
The Disney series includes Candice Modiselle, Gigi Lamayne, Pearl Thusi and Tumi Morake
